“Silver Forest is a terrific place to stay if you want to be outside the centre of Cape Town. It’s really pretty and peaceful. The service is second to none. Charles, Basil and their team of terrific staff couldn’t do enough to make our stay perfect. ”

“Stayed at this hotel recently for 3 nights (flown from the uk) for a friend’s wedding. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful - going out of their way to make us feel welcomed. Food was great, service superb and prices very reasonable. Grounds are absolutely stunning set in the backdrop of lushes gardens, vineyards and mountain ranges in the distance. There’s lots to do near the hotel - just a short wonder onto the vineyard estates with restaurants, shops and kid-friendly parks/activities. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying at this location to anyone. We plan to return with our children in the coming few years. ”

“Beautiful villa, amazing garden and great views. Also the daily cleaning staff was great, especially considering we have small kids everything was clean and tidy when we got back from our trips. 1 big issue: both our kids 1 and 4 had multiple splinters from the pool deck in their feet, we spent 3 hours in the emergency response at the hospital to get them removed. As adults we didn’t have any splinters, I guess less running and thicker skin. So although I would recommend the place for adults, id highly recommend passing this hotel with children. ”

“The location is beautiful and staff were great. Rooms comfortable and check in was seamless. We arrived late afternoon starving and the reception suggested a lovely place to eat just down the road. The only thing that I felt was missing was a small fridge in the room and (maybe) bottled water. Though the tap water in the Cape is normally safe to drink, so not really an issue. We got a great price on Agoda so it was definitely a bargain ”
