“Wide angle lenses always tell a bigger story than reality eventually shows. My room was exceptionally clean and very reasonable. Yet, it was off season and the hotel was empty so the price seemed a bit high. The location was not far from the ferry or bus as well as the historical district. Staff were friendly, coffee fair and breakfast ok. Not a bad place for one night in a sweet but oddly uncrowded town.”

“We stayed at Posada Manuel Lobo for two nights Staff was very diligent and looking after our needs Room was clean and very spacious. Furniture was classic and very well preserved. There are other rooms available with jacuzzi or whirlpool bath. The hotel is focused on people enjoying and having a great rest so young kids are not allowed. We are definitely coming back on our next stay at Colonia del Sacramento.”

“Better for tour groups that pay travel agencies. Alternative to expensive accommodations in historical center”
