“Our family of four spent two nights in a deluxe room. The room was great for a family as it had two tvs, plenty of room, and a small kitchen area with a large counter space, a few dishes and dish soap on hand, a large garbage (as opposed to a regular hotel trash can), and a paper towel dispenser which is surprisingly super convenient. The facilities were definitely declining if you looked closely, such as ceiling tiles sinking and paint peeling. However, the room still felt very clean. We were disappointed because we thought the hotel was directly on the beach, but it is actually across the street with two rows of buildings blocking the view of the lake. That being said, it is an easy walk to anything in the main street, including the beach, amusement park, and restaurants. This is helpful as every other parking lot in the area requires payment. I do feel that the hotel was over priced, especially because we stayed in the middle of the week and most shops were closed. We were lucky the amusement park opened on Thursday because that was also closed earlier in the week. Overall our family had a nice time and would recommend this place to someone staying in the area if they were able to get a good rate. ”
