“Clean, spacious rooms with a fridge, microwave and eateries within walking distance. Free parking and 24-hr coffee/tea/hot chocolate bar is a big plus. We didn’t use it but there’s a laundry room if you need. If I were to be picky, I’d say it would be nice to have a sign somewhere that tells incoming guests where to check in. There are several doors and if you don’t have mobile key, you’d need to walk around the building to the front after parking your car to get to the reception. ”

“Overall, it's worth staying here if you plan to be in Santa Cruz. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast is fine for what it is. It's not really in a walkable location but it's central and so its convenient for short drives to get where you need to go. The only downside was that the office staff was not very welcoming. ”

“We went to Santa Cruz for our 1 year wedding anniversary and were thrilled with our stay! The location is excellent, across the street from the beach and lots of dining options within very short walking distance. The rooms are simple and clean with a huge shower, which I really enjoyed. Luxury shampoo/conditioner/shower gel was provided. (Cannot be taken home with you, they're attached to the shower wall. They have a small pool and hot tub that was clean and put to good use. The TV had streaming service capabilities, so if you have an account, you can watch what you'd like. Parking is an additional $22 per night, but we felt it was worth it with the difficulty of finding parking otherwise. We look forward to staying again!!”

“We had a two bedroom queen booked, they said they only had a king and a pullout for us. We waited over an hour after check in time for our correct room (they ended up giving us two full beds, NOT queen size.) Then waited over a half hour for our luggage. They said they’d comp us cocktails and send to the pool since we had to wait. Those drinks never came and the pool bar was closed. We had to go downstairs twice to ask about the drinks… they never came. At 11:30pm we were in pajamas ready for bed and the TV wouldn’t turn off, we had to wait for two maintenance men to come, then they had to turn our power off and on to try and fix it. Then in the morning we were woke up by a loud speaker in our room, announcing they’d be doing routine fire and elevator drills…. SO loud. THEN we hung at the pool and ordered food and drinks, they said it would take 20 minutes. We never got the drinks and 45 minutes later the brought the wrong food. We had to check out 10 minutes later so we were stuck with fish tacos that we don’t eat. There was also some kind of flood in the building that made the place wreak of sewage. We tried to e mail management 3 times and they never got back. Finally called and got ahold of one, he was very nice and said e mail send us a gift card to come back in the future… I still haven’t received it. Too bad because staff was nice…. The system just was awful and zero efficient. ”
