“Beds like concrete. Even my husband who can sleep most anywhere couldn't get good rest”

“The rooms are clean and huge. Friendly staffs. Complimentary parking and daily breakfast. Great location nearby to downtown and beach side. ”

“Property manager was amazing she was accommodating helpful wonderful staff”

“Only problem was that another guest talked loudly on his phone outside in the parking lot at 3am. The walls actually seemed pretty thick and noise-beating. I can't hold the hotel responsible for thoughtless guests. ”

“Was just fine”

“The bed in our room was pillow like. We both slept great. Breakfast was decent and the staff was kind and understanding ”

“This property has improved a lot since its previous days. It used to feel run-down and not very inviting, but since becoming a Motel 6, they’ve clearly put effort into cleaning it up and making it more comfortable. Updates like new linens, some refreshed flooring, and better overall maintenance have made a noticeable difference. It’s still a basic, no-frills stay, but it’s now clean, safe, and perfectly fine for a short visit. I’ve stayed here solo and with my boyfriend and I always felt comfortable regardless. There aren’t extra amenities like a pool, but you do get free Wi-Fi and a very convenient location—right off the freeway, with a Denny’s nearby and a McDonald’s across the street. The boardwalk is a short drive away, and downtown is within walking distance. The staff is friendly, pets are allowed for a fee, and it’s easy to park right outside your room. Just be aware that space is limited if you’re traveling with a larger vehicle or trailer.”

“A nice change to our normal SC getaway. Will do again and telling friends. ”
