“Horrible... We are very disappointed that the Wyndham management can run this place as a hotel. This place need to be condemned . Pet odor, Mold furniture,broken door,stained curtain, bugs, bubbly walls by water damage, toxic air by old air conditioning system.. We got so sick ”

“This hotel has lots of history, the receptionist was very helpful and gave the history on the place Every staff member I asked were very helpful Walk right out your front door to shops and coffee, shops, restaurants, etc. Amazing rooftop restaurant and bar, exceptional food, and music rotation”

“We stayed here for one night while driving from Big Sky with my toddler and were hoping for a simple, comfortable stop to bathe my child and get some rest after a long day of travel. Unfortunately several aspects of the stay were disappointing. The hotel was extremely busy due to multiple events including monster truck shows, dance competitions and sporting events, which made parking very difficult. At check-in we were told overflow parking was available elsewhere, but because of the uncertainty we ended up unloading our entire vehicle. We also specifically asked whether the room had a bathtub (as I needed to bathe my toddler) and was assured it did. After arriving in the room we discovered it only had a shower. When we called the front desk we were later told that they had been told the upper level rooms had bathtubs. Later in the evening there was significant hallway noise with children running and yelling between floors. When we contacted the front desk we were informed that quiet hours begin at 10pm. While that may be policy, the level of noise around 9:30pm made it difficult to settle a toddler for the night. There were also several room maintenance and cleanliness issues which were concerning. The shower floor did not appear properly cleaned, the connecting door between rooms was visibly damaged, and the cabinet door covering the mini-fridge would not close properly and remained partially open. With a toddler in the room this created a small safety concern. Photos were taken of these issues. None of these concerns individually are catastrophic, but together they created the impression that the property may be struggling to maintain room standards during busy event periods. With clearer communication at check-in, stronger room inspection procedures, and improved maintenance follow-up, the guest experience here could be significantly improved.”

“We paid a little over $150 for one night in a double queen bed room. The tv didnt work when we got there and we ended up having to fix it ourselves using google. The drain in the bathtub was clogged leading to an uncomfortable shower. Clean room and nice staff, just not worth the price for a pretty old run down hotel”

“Great location just a few minutes drive to trendy downtown shops and dining. For a budget friendly hotel this one has all you need. Clean, good temperature control and good water pressure. Beds very comfy too! Housekeeping missed us for some unknown reason but ok. The only disappointment was breakfast had no meats for a keto diet. ”

“Nice room. Great bed and sheets. Good breakfast. The elevator smells terrible. And I was bitten really badly by bed bugs one of the nights. Found behind my bed an used tissue tainted in blood trying to find the bed bugs. The personnell was good. Out of order pool was disappointing. Checkout was a big hassle (15minute wait). But I liked the gym (though it could use an open window for fresh air). Liked the city of Rapid City very much overall.”
