“I had a wonderful stay and would happily give this place 5 stars. The property has a very unique and colorful atmosphere. There are books everywhere, a fantastic library, a large outdoor pool, and an amazing playroom for children that even includes a small stage. It feels like a place designed with creativity and family enjoyment in mind. The breakfasts were delicious, and the unlimited selection of tea and coffee was a lovely touch. The host was also very attentive about breakfast times—just make sure not to arrive late, or you might miss out on all the delicious food! 😊 If I could offer one small suggestion, it would be regarding some of the furnishings and linens. While everything appeared to be cleaned and well cared for, some items felt quite old, which can sometimes give the impression of being less fresh than they actually are. A few updates in this area could make the overall experience feel even more comfortable and inviting. Overall, this is a charming and memorable place with a warm atmosphere, and I truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you for your hospitality”

“Ask for a room facing the Seaway. Surprisingly good free breakfast, we weren't there for dinner, but it looks like a really NICE restaurant. Big outdoor pool, very well maintained. Lots of room to walk around, has a huge lawn area adjacent to the St. Lawrence Seaway. The front desk person didn't seem to know much about Ogdensburg or what parks, what to do. We figured it out on our own. Not many good restaurants, but lots of waterfront parks and local bars. Lots of War of 1812 history, major treaty between US and Canada signed right there in 1940. ETC. Clean room, comfortable beds.”
