“Too noisy. Shift construction workers occupied the motel. I asked to be moved twice, but they said it wasn't possible. Checked out 2 days early.”

“The reception upon arriving, during, and departing my stay was exceptional. The front desk was super welcoming. The pool was cleanly and refreshing. Except the birds over the door were super annoying. They should try to deter them from nesting, as my children were fearful as they were dive bombed by a bird. We had Rouse deliver food for dinner and the continental breakfast was staffed well and was a good value. ”

“The exterior and grounds of the motel aren't impressive, really lean to the sketchy. There is a large, apparently broken down, dryer on the sidewalk. The pain scheme is an oddity, and the dining area is partially a laundry room and its only offering is cold cereal, probably stale as its stored in a plastic bin. I arrived at 4pm, and had to wait for a staff person to appear. I did not use the pool, but several.ppl were when I arrived. I did not hold out much hope for my room, but it was a pleasant surprise. The bathroom was "aged" and could use a modern touch. The floors were plank style flooring and in good condition. But the bed, the whole purpose of a room, was excellent. Great sleep, not an ache when I awoke. The bed is the reason id recommend staying here. ”

“I was issued a smoking room without my consent. When I arrived that evening, I was told to take it our leave. The next morning the breakfast host began putting away food as we tried to make our plates. She'd rather throw food away than let a 13 eat it, it was weird. ”

“The Super 8 is a typical roadside motel, nothing fancy, but decent (clean, well maintained). The front desk staff members were friendly and helpful. My room was clean and well-maintained. The included breakfast was a bit skimpy but OK. It's a few miles from the interesting downtown river walk of Natchitoches. ”
