“The place is nice enough although the carpets were completely thread bare in my room, looks bad. But otherwise was clean. Unfortunetly I was taking a walk right by the hotel and was bitten by a large bloodhound dog, hard enough to have blood running down my leg. This was directly behind the pool area, the yellow house with a white van parked in front. Highy recommend you don't walk over there! I told the front desk staff about it and all they did was laugh at me. ”

“We stayed 2 nights at the Murphys Inn. This was our 2nd time staying here. It was a great value for the price we paid. The hotel was clean, staff was fine, location was great for the short walk to town with a great cafe across the parking lot. Grocery store was just a few minutes walk from the trail at the back of the parking lot. It's not a high end hotel, but very comfortable. The only issue is the low Wi-Fi signal, but it is a mountain town so that can be expected. ”
