“My wife and I personally prefer stiff beds, so the soft bed was uncomfortable but other than that the stay was great.”

“Came to get off the road and ended up getting the most ridiculous treatment from staff when at 2 am the smoke detector started going off randomly every 5 minutes or so. Called the front desk and they said it doesn't do that and that even if it was faulty they don't have maintenance guy or a ladder to take care of it themselves. I had to ask for another room and then they got annoyed and said "if I really thought it was necessary." They then accused me smoking in the room, which I told them that'd be amazing since I don't smoke and especially since it started when I was dead asleep. Not an ounce of empathy or offers to make up for the terrible experience. Thankfully the person from the night wasn't there during check out, that's about the only positive I had there.”

“Very pleasant!”

“I've always stayed at the Hill country Inn year 2012, 2013 and now 2026. It's my go to place to stay. Rioms have definitely changed and for the better. Better linens and better showers. I'm hands down great place to stay and we live it is pet friendly. Staff are very friendly: checkin was great and housekeeping stipped by our room the morning and took our dirty towels and handed me clean towels. She was sweetheart! ”
