“Good accommodations. We stayed in an Aqua Lodge. Clean and convenient. Marina has a pool, boat rentals close to Marathon Lady Party boat. Airport nearby. So expect a few planes overhead.”

“We were very excited to sleep in a houseboat. Upon checkin the staff was unfriendly stressing to us how overworked the manager was and the other person was training. After receiving 2 keys we found our way to the boathouse with no help from staff. We entered and were imediatly sickened by the dreadful septic tank smell aluding from the boathouse we had to exit covering our faces and gaging. After letting the staff know this we were forced to sit in the parking lot and wait for maintenence people to arrive and pump out the toilet. They dropped the house into the entering door and we waited hours into darkness ruining our first night. We were told they could not switch the houseboat to another one even though half of them appeared to be empty. We were also told no fishing no grilling allowed on the boat. Basically no fun as we planned to relax and fish from the back deck. This was not allowed. We were very disappointed in the country club area that was very difficult to find and we were rudely scolded by manager when we went to her for directions and a pass to enter. She made many excuses and gave a candle to help with the disgusting oder in one of two rented boathouse. We left quite early in morning for a boat excursion only to arrive to out other boathouse rental entrance having a septic tank hose draped across our entrance unattended. It was disgusting to hv to walk over this to enter and it remained there throughout the day into dinner time which forced us to hv to leave and eat out instead of grilling our fish on a grill set up across the parking lot in the complete darkness no lights smelly designated area. We had booked 2 houseboat 5 months in advance and they were not ready for outer stay. A Poorly managed property with great potential ruined by an incompetent and rude manger. Don't waste yr hard earned money by staying here.”

“This is a great resort! Clean and easy check in! Everything is a short walking distance, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. I wish I had stayed longer to enjoy the amenities more! Kayaks, paddle boards, bikes, hammock, beach, pool and a relaxing spot to sit outside. Also, we got to see a manatee right next to the dock! It's not too far from Key West or Miami. I was able to make day trips to both very easily. I will absolutely stay again!”

“Room was clean but resort is dated & pool area needs up grading. I came away covered in bruises on my knees due to constantly hitting my knees off the wooden corners of the bed. Also the window blinds wouldn’t close so anyone in the the room above could see into our room while we slept in the bed which wasn’t great great when it got light in the morning ”

“Good location. Decor very nice and good swimming pool. Breakfast pretty basic and you have to use plastic cutlery and cardboard plates. Not exactly premium from the Hilton brand. Bed was comfy but only made up every other day which is poor. We complained and I think they may change this policy. Nice big car park that they charge at $10 a day. ”

“This is a very nice resort with an excellent restaurant, pretty rooms with views, and a beautiful location. When you book there are a lot of hidden taxes and fees so just be aware of at least $100 extra a day, and if you have a car to park even more. Even charging a resort fee for the day of check in, which doesn’t make too much sense with a late arrival. But overall it was pretty. ”

“We originally booked a double queen room(hotel room) and upon checkin noticed the room had a smell and the grout in the bathroom floor and shower was dirty (mold). We complained to the front desk and we were immediately moved and upgraded to a 2/2 villa. It was the difference between night and day. The entire villa was clean and fresh. The grounds were beautiful and lots of activities for families on the premises. Front desk staff was amazing. We had to leave a day early due to hurricane moving in but we will definitely be back to enjoy this resort again. Go ahead and book the villa and pass on the smaller room! You won’t regret it. ”

“The place is small. For me the location was super since usually I alwata stay in marathon. Super Clean ans the staff is very friendly. Good price as well”
