“Let me start with the hotel was very nice. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The pillows were soft and the beds were comfortable. The walls were not thin, so we barely heard people walking around, which is great when you have LO with early bedtimes and naps. With that said, Avid was not super kid friendly (at least not for little ones). Our room only had a shower, my kids are 4 yoand 1 yo. Although the 4 yo was ok, it was not the easiest to bath my 1 yo. The continental breakfast had some variety, but not much. Each morning there were some variety of eggs, a hot meat, and potatoes. Beyond that, there was yogurt, muffins/bagels, bananas/apples, oatmeal, and 2 types of cereal. However, one of the cereal dispenser was stuck the whole time. This isn't so bad considering the price, but not much when you have super picky toddlers. My husband and I were fine with the food, just a warning for those parents with the picky eaters. You may want to bring something for them. Overall, our stay was nice. ”

“Loved staying here! Staff treated us like family and were exceptionally helpful. The only thing that could be improved on was hot eggs for breakfast. But I would still highly recommend this hotel and we hope to stay again in the future!”

“We selected this hotel because we unfamiliar with the area. We arrived and found the outside not typical to our tastes. We actually even reconsidered a different hotel. BUT- The staff was EXTREMELY kind and we could see they were working non-stop. Our room was extremely clean and it was clear that they wanted to give those little personal touches. The beds were extremely comfortable. Never judge a book by its cover. The right staff can make the biggest difference in the success of a business. We would stay again. ”

“I was exhausted and just needed a room for the night. I asked for a room with 2 Queen beds, close to lobby & elevator. Was given neither. Took 3 tried to FINALLY get it right. The Night Manager/Security guy was amazingly helpful and got us situated so shoot our to Frank/tall, African American man who made it happen!) ”
