“Great place to stay just outside the main drag of Lake Placid. Walkable to Main Street and Olympic rinks, etc. Hotel was well maintained and room was spacious and comfortable. Pool was unfortunately closed due to mistreatment by youth sports groups that had just left. ”

“I wanted to have a relaxing week with a chance to write and shop, waking up to a view and fresh mountain air. The lounge offered a great spot to do the writing, and the proximity to both the mirror lake loop and the shopping main street was great. However, I will note that the breakfast selection was a bit limited (would have liked more fresh fruit, particularly berries), staff were a bit out of step with each other (one said the blind books were $10, the other said $25), and that the balcony wasn't in very good shape. The fridge was also almost room temperature in some spots.”
