“Location is spot on you can walk everywhere. The room was comfortable and fair size, although a bit run down carpet and bathroom peeling paper in shower. Trying to start the fire did not work following instructions as I believe the wood may have been slightly damp, I would suggest a different firelighter or some kindling like it mentions but they did not give us, just wood. The lady at the front reception was an absolute pleasure catering to us and super friendly, she bakes her own pies that look delicious and would totally recommend. A fire pit to sit around would be awesome outside if you want company from other cabin peops. Overall great stay would recommend. ”

“A cheap basic stay close to town with a lovely fireplace. Our unit smelt strongly like gas when we tried to use the heating system, so instead we bought extra firewood and stuck with the fireplace and small electric heater. The draw card is being right in town and having a fireplace. No staff on site but quick response to calls and messages. ”

“Booked through Agoda and Agoda sent them “the wrong room” so the receptionist said - then she proceeded to say there’s nothing she can do - I’ve worked in hotels…you can do anything for your guests if you’d like too. I just paid for a new room on the spot. I brought my mom up here since I loved it and respected some of the staff I knew, but after that interaction I will not be back. ”
