“I chose Richard’s because it was on the airport bus line at a reasonable rate for a Friday night after Christmas and the hotels in the vicinity of FLL were outrageously expensive. A traveler will do well here if he/she knows the expectations: 1. Have 50 in cash for a Key deposit 2. Know that if you need to leave before 8 am you’ll need to go over to Richard’s Hotel one block away to get your cash back 2. Bring a travel size shampoo or wash your hair with the bar soap because they do not give shampoo. That being said, the rooms are adequately clean and I saw no bugs.Shower pressure is good and the pool is refreshing set in a charming old Florida style courtyard.”

“Be ready for 44$ daily fee for valet parking, pool cafeteria it’s horrible, 20$ for a hamburger that last two bites literally, 10$ beer so expensive, doesn’t worse at all. Pool towels are just in the first floor, if you don’t return them they will charge you 10$ for each one.”

“Great location, clean room and ok facility. Just know you'll have a $20ish resort fee and if you have a car you get knicked for $20ish a day to park. Not horrible (considering the tow cars like crazy in Hollywood Beach) but unexpected to pay 20 a day for the parking. That being said we'd stay there again. Room cleanliness and location are worth it. ”

“Not too busy, but lots going on. So close to the ocean. Great restaurants near by. Peaceful and relaxing if you want. Lots of activities nearby. ”
