“Have stayed there for the past five years,theall the staff in the past have been exceptional but this year a little different. The older lady who was the only familiar face on staff was great, daylight early evening not so much. Hopefully will stay her next year”

“Howard Johnson's motor lodges are all but extinct in the northeast, but they had a good reputation back in the day so we booked it.. The only real negative is that the restaurant they promote being on site is a dinner only location which is closed on Sunday nights, and it trends to the higher end for a vacationing family. It was a great experience, in that the people were amazing, food was good and the environment was very nice, but we booked it with the expectation that it was a standard Howard Johnson's type restaurant and it would be convenient for our meals. That being said, there are great breakfast, lunch and dinner options very near by that we loved. We will definitely stay again.”

“Please read. Avoid this place unless you like old dirty scary motel! I was placed here by agoda as a last minute substitution since my original hotel was overbooked . I went to checkout the place since the pictures did not look too bad. Believe the previous reviewers that gave this place poor scores. There is nothing great except being 2 miles from hersheypark. I have traveled all over the world and have never been so shock until I saw this 1950s motel that was supposively renovated and now due for another renovation again! The non-smoking room smelled like smoke and mold maybe because the flooring was water damaged . Room furniture was dirty and worn. Bedding was old and saggy. The door lock did not look secure and I felt very unsafe so we left after less than 10 minutes and had to pay again for another hotel.”
