“We stayed for a couple of night for our first anniversary. The room we had was clean, no signs of bedbugs or anything. The bathroom was clean as well- although there were stains on some of the towels and washcloths..The sink in the bathroom also sprayed some water out of the the bottom of the faucet (a seal issue?) whenever you turned the sink on at normal-high pressure. They do offer free breakfast from 6am-9am- however its very limited. They had mini muffins and mini donut packs that looked like they were from donette packs or something youd get from the convenience store. The toast offered was just sliced bread placed in plastic sandwhich bags...They did, however, have a batter dispenser with a waffle maker- and those tasted pretty good, honestly. The person who checked us in on the first day was friendly and answeres our questions. We tried at one point during our stay to ask for more towels, and the person at the desk (different person) initially asked if we had caught housekeeping in our hall, but then said they would let her know. Dont know if they ever told her, but every time after she was busy in a room and it felt weird to interrupt to ask for towels (thats probably just me though). Upon checkout, there was only a box on the counter instructing people to leave their keys. We rang the bell to double check with the manager, and he said it was fine to leave it, despite them not charging my card yet for the stay. They did eventually charge my card about 2 days later after getting home, but it was still weird. Got the sense that the manager was just kind of..."there"? TLDR: Not at all a bad place for the price. Rooms are at least clean, theres a CVS next door, and youre 10 minutes over the Ohio-West Virginia line from the Mothman Museum. They even have a washer/dryer on the first floor if you desperately need. Youre also within easy drive of some good food places. Walls are a bit thin, though, so if you have noisy neighbors, you might hear them. Overall, 7/10, not 100% sure if I would stay again, but not a bad experience all things given. ”

“very clean, super kind staff & amazing breakfast. great value for the money. extended our stay to get caught up on rest after a funeral & a slew of lousy hotels and weather on our way home across the country myrtle beach to cleveland area”
