“Lovely boutique hotel. Fresh eggs, lots of fresh fruit and cold water. However, they charged an extra $25 daily for "facilities". This wasn't stated anywhere when I booked. ”

“The good things are a very nice staff, clean hotel, fresh cookies even at 10pm. Even though we did not use it the pool area looked very nice for both kids and adults. We got the room with a king bed and hot tub & fireplace in room. To hot for fireplace but it was working and was nice in the few min we had it on. The hot tub worked good and had plenty of towels. Bad things were the tv was not working. Cable box was on but no power on the tv. We had to move the heavy tv desk to find that the tv was not even plugged in. And the cord was wrapped around something on back of desk to keep the excess cord off the floor. So we had to figure out to get enough cord loose in order the plug the tv back in. Not sure why the tv would be unplugged to begin with. The toilet paper on the wall in bathroom is set too far back that I ended up taking the roll off and sat it on the counter. I was not able to reach back very easily to get it. The parking lot in front was nice as long as a spot was found. There is no sign to tell you that more parking is behind the building. We came back late from a show and drove to back to find another lot. There was and it only had 4 cars but problem was there was no sign or door for us to get back into the building. We had to drive back to front and ask front desk staff where the door is to get in if we parked in the back. She said there are doors on side of building. We did not see a sign, path or the door especially since it was 11pm. Considering we paid over $*** for 2 nights we should not have to work that hard just to get back in the building. Luckily the reception found us a spot up front that did not even look like a parking spot. Which would explain why it was still available late at night. So I have mixed reviews on the hotel. And lastly the breakfast buffet was not good. There was veggie omelets that were like rubber. Bacon was limp and had a weird flavor. The only decent item was the waffle maker. But I had to ask and wait for a staff of 3 to fill backup with batter. Free breakfast is one of the things we look for in a hotel. Other than cereal, breads, yogurt and old fruit not much more to choose from. We ate out for breakfast on our 2nd day of checking out. ”

“The views are beautiful. The rooms are clean, the bathrooms small and outdated. The lodge is outdated but clean. There is only one restaurant open even though the cafe is advertised everywhere. There are some fun things to do, they are expensive. We would have loved to have seating areas outside to enjoy the view but other than a few picnic tables at the rides area, there are none. Overall, good experience. Friendly staff! ”
