“This is an older property that the owner has done fairly well with. The room is well-appointed and the facilities, while dated, are serviceable. The principal problem is that it is set up for remote supervision. The doors are to be opened with code sent by email. If there are deficiencies, there may be no one to fix them. Our experience was that after arriving late due to car trouble, we could not get in the room. The code in our note was wrong. Only after an hour of phone communication did a person did come and open it. Next, when we went to wash up, we found there was only one hand towel and one bath towel, but we could not get any more. Last, when making coffee the next morning, there was no decaf for brewing. We did not look for other issues. Ironically, when the owner sent a request for review, the link was XXed out. We appreciate Agoda sending this opportunity. So, in summary, this motel could be satisfactory, but we did not find it that way.”
