“The hotel location is great in relation to all the shops and activities in Frankenmuth. The room was nice. We used the pool and were supplied towels there. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Overall, our stay was brief and pleasant, but a bit expensive. I would stay at the Holiday Inn in Frankenmuth again.”

“The hotel is a great value for the money. Clean. Good breakfast. Nice people that work there. The only complaint is the toilet seat was way too low. Also on one of the weekends it was super crowded and it took a while for them to refill the food and breakfast, but that’s only because one person was working. We’re lucky that they provided breakfast. All in all it was worth the money.”

“Overall the stay was good. We did not see what the Inn looked like prior to the remodel, but the interior design was appealing. Lots of marble. However, there was a miss on the bathroom remodel. It seemed a little backwards, maybe inconvenient might be a better word. First, you need to be a contortionist to reach for the toilet paper. It sits way too far back and low for us and we are pretty flexible. The quick fix was pulling the roll off of the holder and set it on the shelf below the sink. Next, the shower seemed to be set up backwards. The towel holder is mounted on the opposite end of the showers sliding entrance door (the other end is fixed in place). If you normally towel off outside of the shower it may not be a problem. But, for sure you are not going to grab a towel from the rack while standing in the shower. I didn't notice there was a low profile hook on the bathroom door the first time through. So, just don't forget to move a towel there before getting into the shower. As well, the soap shelf is mounted at the closed end of the shower. If you leave something on the shelf and need to retrieve it later you will need to fully walk into the shower stall to grab it. Inconvenient. I just think more thought could have been put into the bathroom layout. Lastly, you might want to wear your sunglasses in the bathroom. Holy smokes the light is bright. One small detail for the room: there is no night light. The room stays really dark even in the daylight, which is a good thing. But, the lights are either full on or full off. Nothing in between. The HVAC system is loud. That said, all the staff were friendly. The breakfast buffet and coffee were tasty with a nice standard selection. The 5:30 kickback was new to us. We were not able to take advantage of the appetizers (they did look good) but did mange to work in the drink allotments. Beer, wine and liquor included. Nice touch.”
