“I'm homeless and was just looking for a place to escape the cold and snow for a couple nights. The room was perfectly insulated and the heater worked fast. Hot water dispensed in just a few seconds and the bath is a good size. The TV was fuzzy and only has like 20 channels but that's whatever. Otherwise perfectly acceptable for the cheap cost. Very appreciative”

“The floors and carpet are so neglected and filthy that they are literally sticky; there was not a single coat hanger on the rack; there was insufficient lighting in the room to accomplish anything beyond sleeping; the Police were called to the location twice in less than 24 hours; and the day time staff was not only rude but demanded, at the top of her lungs, that I leave the property and "go to hell" merely for requiring a receipt for my stay. (I was concerned for an additional charge to my credit card for "damages" in the room that I did not cause but that were preexisting at the time of my entering the room: There was a cigar/cigarette burn hole in the comforter and I was merely requesting assurance by way of receipt that I was not going to be charged for the damage.) I was denied a receipt; denied the contact information of the manager; the staff member called her boyfriend - who immediately came when she called (ironically, he referred to me as "dog" and "bitch"); and I was told never to return to Knight's Inn, Farmington Hills, Michigan. I suppose if I did venture back to Knight's Inn, Farmington Hills, Michigan, that would make me more of a cat than a "dog" or "bitch". No. My recommendation is that you keep driving until you find another motel. This one is absolutely not worth the price.”

“The hotel is very neat and clean among the other Holiday Inn express chain ideal for all travelers including couples & families. The room was spacious and comfortable with all amenities. The breakfast was basic but was good even though the pan cake machine was out of order on the second day of my stay. The lady in the breakfast area was very welcoming and ensuring that the items are replenished from time to time. The location is near to the shopping area. Overall it was a good experience. ”
