“This is an excellent hotel in the Red Wood Forest that provides for families with disabled members. Excellent first-floor accommodation with ADA doors, rollaway if needed, coffee maker, and microwave.”

“Everything good to stay, breakfast is good 6.00-9.00 AM. Lower floor transmit the footstep from the second floor. Bad luck for us that upper floor had a lot of children who keep walking around.”

“It was quite clean, and comfortable. The food was simple but fine and fresh (breakfast cereal, bagels, bread, cream cheese, fruit jellies, juices, coffee, instant hot chocolate and apple cider, etc). The rooms and building were starting to show their age (scratches/nicks on furniture, etc), but things worked fine and there were many free tv channels. The views were as good as any hotel provided in the area of the port or trees behind the building, but don't expect any FANTASTIC views from any hotel in this flat city. It was nice and easy to walk a few minutes to the beach or port.... or even hike about 30 minutes to the lighthouse. Overall, it was comfortable and clean and fine for a budget traveler (decorations were outdated... 80s and 90s), but we only paid $82. If we paid like $110 or more, then I'd be disappointed. But it met out needs very well for out one night stay. I definitely recommend it. We were pleased and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. ”

(A new door lock for our unit would be recommended - the key was a little hard to work). Helpful staff. Heater worked great as we had freezing temps. Easy walk right across to the harbor. Would stay again. For the price, we couldn't find fault.”
