Right near the beach, this hotel nails location, and value for money. In the middle of the night, I had to put my head at the foot of the bed as the mattress was dipping and not supporting my back. They need to be rotated or replaced. There is no water n the room, no water in the lobby, and the staff there cautioned me and told me not to drink the tap water. They should offer, at minimum, water to fill bottles etc in the lobby. The staff told me there was a vending machine in the other building but couldn’t guarantee me that it was filled or had water available. Morning and evening staff were excellent. Room was clean but did appear that it needs updating/refreshing. It seemed as if people stayed here for the same reason we did; we were just sleeping on a long road trip. For that, it suffices. But it wasn’t a home run.

Very cute clean and well maintained hotel just off the hwy. Great location and close to great dining options.

My group of travelers and I have been traveling throughout the Northwest and this is our favorite place. Wonderful clean and well appointed rooms with a view of the ocean, wow. Along with a very affordable price the Bay View Inn is simply THE place to stay in Crescent City.

Good triple room. Only neg. is no screens on windows and with no AC you need windows open.
