“We return to the Sea Otter Inn yearly. We love the proximity to the boardwalk, and walkable distance to a few restaurants. Nice breakfast delivered to your door. I hope they replace their old mattresses by my next visit. These are not senior friendly, very uncomfortable. Disappointed the pool/jacuzzi not in working order while we were there. Most staff friendly and helpful.”

“Great location and nice place. The room was big it would have been nice to have an extra chair and a table in there though. Also some sort of little seating area outside the room as well . Even just some chairs or a bench or something . Nice little cafe next door. Perhaps a discount with your stay would be a nice touch.”

“We enjoyed the proximity to Moonstone Beach”

“The room was spotless and very lovely. And it is beautifully located next to the sea. However, the additional things you expect are sadly lacking. Our room wasn’t serviced, so we didn’t get any clean towels, and the bins were not emptied. The Wi-Fi is VERY bad. Which is an issue as there was no phone signal in the location. And breakfast is advertised as being included. The lady at reception told us it was from 7.30am to 12.30. We went down at 9.30am expecting at least some offerings of a continental breakfast, but there was nothing there except some apples and lukewarm coffee. Not good enough for the price that is being charged. ”

“The room was small but the king bed very comfortable. Everything was very clean. Breakfast was simple but very good. Coffee/tea were available all day in the lobby. Staff were friendly and helpful. The one thing I wished for was another chair in the room and outside in front—only one chair in each place. ”

“Amazing ocean views, great staff. Definitely coming back”

“We stayed here for one night while traveling along the California coast. The location is nice, just across the road from the ocean, and convenient for exploring the area further north. The property is a little dated, and our room did not have air conditioning. The bathroom door lock was not working, and the turntable in the microwave did not rotate; we reported the microwave issue to reception. None of these were major problems for our one-night stay, but the facilities could use some updating. Breakfast is delivered to the room rather than served in a dining area. It arrived exactly at the requested time, everything we ordered was included, and the breakfast was good. Coffee was also available at reception in the morning. Parking was included and easy to find around the property. The staff at reception were friendly and efficient. Overall, it was a pleasant and convenient place for a short stay on the coast.”
