“Cabin was clean and cozy and had all the amenities listed. Parking was close and convenient to our cabin. We had very little interaction with the staff but what interaction we did have was pleasant and respectful. The location was mediocre and seemed a little cramped with the amount of other cabins on the property it definitely did not provide that cozy secluded feel. The views were less than desirable as there is a mobile home park right across the street that was the main view from our cabin. The location was convenient to the national park and plenty of nearby outdoor activities. Overall the stay was good and the price was fair. Would recommend to others and will stay again in the future.”

“Pros: Reasonably priced, close to the interstate & New River Gorge NP, friendly staff, room reasonably clean, did have breakfast Cons: Doors to building were not secured. ..has a key scan, but doors were always unlocked, hallways & doors need cleaning, sheer drape in room had gook on it and carpet didn't seem very clean. Breakfast mediocre ”

“The guy n girl at front desk were nice n while she was checking us in he went to "make sure our room was ok"..when we pulled up he was sweeping the floor saying someone walked in w dirty feet but what really was going on was he was sweeping up dead roaches. Upon going in the room there were dead roaches everywhere...happens when treating for them so ok ..we left for a bit n came back n there were live roaches all over the tv n stand as well as microwave and fridge. They were not on bed so i gave them our food wrappers that still had food in them to feast on away fom bed so they would not come over to the bed lol. Upon checking in the lady said id be next to her and that she had 3 dogs.. Ok fine no issue except one barked til after freakn midnight! Now from what i understand this use to be a bad place n they r fixing it up but they could buy the roach gel stuff from walmart n put around the tv stand to get rid of some of those roaches. And make that dog shut up by at least 10. This dog didnt just bark once here or there it barked constantly for 15 mins at a time. And also i question if the sheets get changed bc there was dirt on sheet under comforter at the foot of bed and w the dirty floors that are not carpet like in pics ..id say that was from last people that stayed.Also whomever was in the room before us...ur cell phone is still in the night stand on the bathroom side of bed....oh n speaking of bathroom.. My soap they leave in room was already opened n used n put back in plastic. Ugh!”
