“This appears to be a new addition to the Fairbridge Inns chain and the new owners are improving things in the run down appearance of the hotel. The room I had an odor of smoking and the manager told me when he discovered the guy smoking he kicked him out of the hotel. It appears that some of the rooms are being worked and so are not available. I will come back in 6 months or a year and see if anything really improved.”

“My wife and I were in town for a wedding. We had procrastinated booking a room and ended up with this as the only option. Upon arrival I was informed that I had accidentally booked two rooms. The owner told me that I would need to contact agoda to get my refund for the second room. He then gave me the key to room 223. My wife and I went upstairs to check it out before unpacking our stuff just in case. Good thing. There was black mold in the shower and on the ceiling above the toilet. I went back down to the office and told the owner that we would not be staying in that room due to the mold. I asked for the key to the second room which he then informed me he had already sold, even though I had already paid for it and not yet been refunded. We then left the location entirely and called agoda. We were refunded for the room that we were never able to use. We asked for a refund on 223 due to it being usafe to stay in due to the mold. Agoda called the location and the owner lied and said we were there in the room for 30 minutes so he was only willing to offer a partial refund. Stay away from this establishment. I understand a certain amount of “get what you pay for” but this case was extreme. We will be contacting the local health department to report our findings and hopefully prevent people from getting sick. ”
