“The room was nice and mostly cleaned. I don't believe the ice bucket should be in the bathroom 3 feet from a flushing toilet. That is an extremely unhealthy place to put it when it shouldn't be placed in the bathroom at all. The fridge wouldn't close because there was so much frozen ice in there. We were able to chip enough away in order to finally close it so we could use the fridge for our sodas. the toilet wouldn't stop running the whole time we were there. Imagine that water bill.... The pool was nice and clean and the morning breakfast was outstanding and the two girls running it and keeping it stocked did a fabulous job. Fred the maintenance guy was nice but a little too talkative but all in all a nice guy. The front desk person is nice but should know a little more about what restaurants were around etc.....”

“Nice location with walking path along the river. Close to a cool museum and coffee shop. If you like sea lions, they will be serenading you all day and all night. We were able to block it out when we weren't laughing at how loud they were. Fun place and would visit again! ”

“This Motel 6 in Astoria felt less like a hotel room and more like the opening scene of a low-budget slasher film. The room smelled like mildew, the furniture was broken and worn, the remote control did not work, and the bedspread looked like it had already survived Act One. The bathroom had stained grout, dirty tile, and the kind of tub area that makes you question every life choice leading up to check-in. Amenities were limited to a small bar of soap and coffee from 6:00 to 10:00 a.m., presumably so guests have enough energy to flee in daylight. I was not expecting luxury. I was expecting clean, functional, and reasonably maintained. This was none of those things. I would not stay here again.”

“We were blown away by how cute this place was. I have a huge interest in victorian houses and never had the opportunity to stay in one. I must say that pictures don't do it justice- the attention to detail and carefully curated furniture in both our room and the common areas really sets it apart from any other hotel in the area. I will be recommending this stay to all my friends and would love the opportunity to come back! ”
