“The good: The location for visiting Mount Nemrut can't be beat! The dinner we had in the restaurant was outstanding. The road from the hotel to the trail (stairs) up to the monuments is very good. We read reviews that said a 4x4 is needed... NOT TRUE! Any car can do just fine. This does seem to be the best hotel in Karadut, but it is not without it's issues. I'm not sure why, but, as a married couple, we were given a room with 3 single beds despite being the only guests in the hotel that night. We asked if two could be joined, into a double bed but it didn't happen. The rooms are basic. There were minor issues... door off the refrigerator, minor wall damage, leaky shower, etc. But the one major issue we had was that the heating system couldn't keep up with the cold temperatures of late November. We were quite cold that night! I'd recommend coming when nighttime temperatures stay above 10 degrees C (50 degrees F). Solo female travelers might want to know there are many men working at the hotel, including contractors repairing earthquake damage, but we didn't see a single woman.”

“I stated 1 night (5th July to 6th July 2025. King Bedroom City View My room was spacious, clean, had ample storage, lots of bathroom and shower bench space plus more. The breakfast was great as well with a variety of food. The bed and pillows were so comfy! The customer service was A+++++! All staff were super helpful and friendly, especially Beret who helped me with a number of things. They stored my ice packs in their freezer for my medication, helped with taxis, information about tours etc. Beret even phoned his friend at Turkish Airlines when I had a query about storing my meds in their freezer fridge on my flight.
