“First of all there’s no problem with the hotel…the staff are very nice, the room was a bit basic (mattresses double stacked on the floor) but fine, and the food was very good. The problem, for us at least with no car and that we had no idea about, was that the only access to the beach that doesn’t involve driving many kilometers is to pass through the ancient city museum. They charge 575 Turkish Lira per person, each time you want to cross through the museum to the beach or back to where the hotels are. So if you are two people and you want to go to the beach and then back to your room, the cost is 2,300 lira. Want to go twice in one day? 4,600 lira…if we had known this we would have stayed in Cirali where the access to the beach is free and the beach is more or less the same... by the beach you can walk to the Olimpos side in 10 minutes. Sorry to the hotel for saying this but I wouldn’t want someone else to have the same bad surprise.”
