“Mini gym . Not good”

“Very clean and modern hotel. Breakfast buffet has a huge variety. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Hotel is located in no alcohol zone.”

“I stayed here on my own for 2 nights and had a lovely stay. The hotel is on one of the best streets in the Medina, very lively even at night so it was great to walk in it even when I was coming back very late. The room was bigger than I expected and had a bathtub. I stayed in the second floor, up two flights of stairs, but it was not difficult to reach. The hotel also had a rooftop restaurant where I had dinner in. I arrived early morning and the staff was very kind, Nadey (spelling?) let me store my suitcase and gave me great recommendations. Khawla was also very kind in arranging everything I needed, and giving me tips for traveling around Tunisia. The Dar is very well decorated and I especially love the blue and orange breakfast room. Thank you to the staff for a lovely stay!”

“This Dar is one of the newer and most renovated once I've stayed in the Tunis Medina. Right next to el Jeld (and I believe is in the same management, since you check in there), you're able to access all the amenities they have including the rooftop pool, which was great for the summer. The room itself was beautiful, big shower and very comfortable pillows and mattress. For breakfast, it was raining and so the staff delivered the food to my room. I had a great stay! Would definitely return.”

“Dar Ben Gacem Kahia is a historic dar in the heart of the medina. The property is fantastic, beautifully maintained down to the smallest detail and impeccably clean. It is located just a short walk from the souk, the Great Mosque and several restaurants and cafés. The house also features a terrace overlooking the rooftops and mosques of the medina. The room where we stayed was beautiful and spotless, with a highly functional mosaic-tiled shower. Breakfast was excellent and abundant, with many local specialties prepared by the owners.”
