“The Hotel Smaland is located at a country road in the town of Klevshult right next to a gas station and close to the E4 highway. In the back is a sawmill and a railway running close to the building which is noisy. It seems to me more like a motel rather than real hotel. The rooms were good size and had some new furniture in it, though the whole place could use some renovation. Staff was friendly but reception was only open between 7:00 and 21:00. Also, when I arrived in the afternoon during the week, I had to wait because nobody was there. Breakfast was fresh but just OK. The price of 130 Euros per night were exorbitant for this place, probably because of the exhibition nearby. ”
