“Good hotel in many ways, but we were disappointed by Suceava itself. There really is not a very enjoyable old town—what is nearby are run down postwar buildings. The parking is NOT really free, as there is little chance of getting a free space in front of the hotel,so you likely must park nearby for a fee. The Citadel is a long, steep walk away, and looks likely to be under reconstruction for several years more. There is a very nice museum near it of traditional village homes that have been moved there. If we could do it again, we’d instead stay up in the Bucovina area. Putna Monastery is a must visit.”

“Everything was decent, but stairs everywhere are a pain if you have a newborn and a stroller. Also, an option with breakfast included would be easier than paying every time at the restaurant. ”
