“First, the only staff around for most of our stay was Fantastic. Corina went out of her way to take care of our well being. We had the misfortune to travel to Deva over Easter holidays so many places were closed and our party of 3 rooms were the only guests. The room was spacious and clean, but is in need of refreshing. Paint is peeling and the bathroom shower is inadequate and is in a high sided tub, very difficult to get in and out of. The hairdryer has only one low and not hot level. Barking dogs are around almost all night. The worst thing was that aside from our stairwell and room, there was no access to anything in the hotel. A key was required to get out of the building, which is a terrible danger in case of fire. Our room was up a lot of stairs which is not uncommon, but it was a difficult place for us as we are not young guests. It should have been made clear that no one would be on site when we arrived. A missed communication meant we had to sit in our car until Corina arrived to let us in. Even her kindness couldn’t make up for the hotel’s shortcomings.”
