“My stay at Khaplu Palace was pretty good overall, but it wasn't quite what I expected from a Serena hotel. If you're after a super luxurious experience, you're probably better off at Serena Hunza. This palace is really old, like decades old. There's a small TV, but only if you're not staying in the main palace area. No mini-bar, and the AC makes weird noises because of the power going up and down. Housekeeping is just standard. They don't do room service unless you're sick, which is a bit of a bummer. Ghulam, Fatima, and the others at the front desk are nice. The restaurant's outdoor seating isn't great, and the whole place needs a lot of renovation. The breakfast buffet could definitely be better.”
