“UMA Hotel is a breath of fresh air in Naga City’s hospitality scene. As frequent travellers used to 5-star accommodations, we were pleasantly surprised and genuinely impressed by this modern new-build hotel. Along with Summit, UMA stands out as one of the top contemporary options in Naga that today’s generation will appreciate. From the moment we arrived, the aesthetic appeal of the hotel was undeniable. The clean, modern design of the lobby, the well-curated pool area, and the overall atmosphere gave off a boutique luxury feel. The check-in process was smooth as butter, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The pool was a definite highlight for our family—we practically had it all to ourselves! The adjacent pool bar, Booya, served great food and drinks, and we have to commend the chef for their attention to flavor. Every dish we tried, while limited in variety, was absolutely delicious. The restaurant itself is beautiful in setup, though we did notice some ceiling damage—possibly from past water issues—that needs urgent repair to maintain the ambiance. Our room was comfortable and stylish, but unfortunately had visible mould on some interior parts, likely caused by dampness from the air conditioning. This is a serious concern, particularly for guests with children or health sensitivities, and we hope the management addresses it promptly. It did slightly take away from the otherwise polished look of the room. One of the unexpected perks was the internet speed—it was fast, stable, and allowed me to work remotely without any interruptions. This made a huge difference and added to the overall convenience of our stay. A special mention goes to the older gentleman we observed frequently sat around the hotel—he seemed to be someone in charge, perhaps the owner. His hands-on approach, personally checking details and ensuring standards were met, did not go unnoticed and speaks volumes about the hotel’s commitment to excellence. Overall, UMA Hotel is a much-needed and very welcome addition to Naga. It has immense potential and is already offering a high standard of stay. With just a few improvements, it could easily become a top-tier destination in the city. We will definitely stay again.”

“Needs to improve the selection of foods for their breakfast menu. They don't serve hotdog, bacon, and the likes. They only serve chicken afritada and mini hamburger steak with gravy. Still, they have cereals, bread, champorado, congee and salad. But for their room, it's so nice. Just that they have to thoroughly clean it as we found an underwear in our room. Aside from that all good with the room. ”

“The room was clean and the staff were very warm and accommodating. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Location is really good. The drainage in the shower was clogged so we were transferred to a different room but everything else was good. We commend the cleaning staff for making sure that the room was kept clean and the help desk for responding quickly on the issue we raised and the requests we made. We will definitely go back and stay in this hotel.”
