“A warm welcome from the Receptionist Leticia. I appreciated the cool welcome drink and hand towel on arrival and I was touched to receive the beautiful traditional Lei made with the national Tiare flower. I arrived early and was invited to enjoy the pool and facilities until my Bungalow was ready. I even received a text when it was prepared. I enjoyed sitting on the veranda soaking up the views, the Polynesian atmosphere and realizing a dream to visit French Polynesia had come true. The welcome note and macarons were a very sweet thought. Being there for the National day,July 14th was a bonus. The fireworks put on by the hotel was absolutely beautiful. The buffet breakfast was excellent and the croissants and pan au chocolat - best I’ve ever had. Congratulations to the pastry Chef. Amazing view of crystal clear water whilst dining. As a solo traveler one area to improve might be to remind all staff that solo travelers are just as deserving and valued as couples and families. The spa had said they only had couple appointments available! it wasn’t made clear to me why that couldn’t be adapted. Also a waitress in the evening said, ”your here alone?” Solo travelers are here to explore and have adventures too. That said, I want to thank you Sofitel Moorea for making my French Polynesia stay so special.”
