“Hotel is kept immaculate and clean. Breakfast was superb with a great variety of fresh fruits, pastries, hot and cold drinks, fresh fruit juices cheeses and yogurt. Cooked breakfast is also on offer. Staff were well trained, cordial and helpful. They also spoke English upon realising we weren’t conversant in the Dutch language. This made us feel very welcomed. The hotel is on the outskirts of Leeuwarden city but it is close enough to take a walk into town. Took us about 20 minutes. So, it’s quiet and peaceful to return to after a day of sightseeing. I definitely recommend it.”

Housekeeping was excellent — the room was consistently clean and well maintained throughout our stay. One of the best parts of this hotel is its central location. Everything is within walking distance, including shops, attractions, and even the university in Leeuwarden. Getting around was very easy, and we especially appreciated that halal food options were also conveniently available nearby. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable stay. We would gladly return and highly recommend this hotel to families and travelers visiting Leeuwarden.”

“*please keep in mind this is a low-budget hotel. Stay: budget single room with shared bathroom. (Top floor (2nd)) The good: despite being in an old building, the hotel was generally clean. Bathroom and shower was clean. Staff were attentive. The bad: no A/C or fans in the room, which made it unbearable to stay in. Not able to sleep at night due to the warmth and despite having window open, no wind entering the room. Please read the reviews of any hotel before booking (made a big mistake on my end). There’s budget, and then there’s low-budget. Despite it all, it’s probably a generally okay hotel to stay in, IF it was any other season. The hotel may do well providing fans to guests if they can afford to. ”
