“I was very happy with my room at Long John. It was perfect for a solo traveler. Room was super clean, bed comfy, WiFi strong, shower hot, staff welcoming, coffee maker nice, and there was plenty of room for all my stuff. I was a little worried that being on a main square that it would be noisy. But it wasn't, they have doubled the windows to keep out noise and it works. Only noise were from other guests that came in late and talked in hallway. But Long John provided ear plugs so I popped those in and slept soundly. I was in room 2 which had a private shower but shared toilet. The toilet in the hall was clean and I never experienced a wait. I chose this hotel based on location. In the historic area but also in walking distance of train station. Took me about 20 minutes to get to station which was great. I felt safe here and recommend for other solo travelers.”

“Elene is an exceptional host. The accommodation was perfect and I wish I could gsfexstsyed longer than 2 nights Amersfoort is a lovely area and the Vita Nova is close to the bus stop and a short ride to the train station. Everywhere is accessible on foot though too. The common area is very cosy and Elene provides an exceptional mini bar and coffee machine. My room (#5) was larger than I expected and the bathroom very spacious for such a small area. I has a chance to sit outside on the tables just before a storm came through and it would be lovely in warm sunny weather to enjoy a drink or two with a nice view. Highly recommend Vita Nova and 100% would stay again! ”

“This place is a gem. Yes, as some other people have mentioned, the key fob takes a little bit to get used to, but it’s not that complicated and everything else is top notch. Not to mention, it may have the best bed and shower I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. The Nespresso coffee and tea availability was also a nice addition. Not to mention robes, being so close to a convenience store, etc. The list can go on! ”
