“This former prison building turned hotel has an interesting character, and the room I stayed in was nice, with access to a deck. Too bad I did not get to use it much in January when it is dark until almost 9 am. Staff was nice and friendly, checkout was effortless on Friday morning. The room could use more lights for my taste, as the walls were mid/dark gray and you only have the bedside lights and some spotlight style lamps. The shower/toilet has only one spotlight. With that said, the WiFi is free and it was solid throughout, and the bed was comfortable. Overall it was a very nice stay in a city where you do not have that many options.”
