“There are some things that are better than other resorts and some things worse. Main negative experience was a lack of proper reception from staff upon arrival and check-in. After receiving a welcome drink and told to wait, we then handed over identity documents to verify our check-in. A little while later we were walked to our room, had the door opened and then told our luggage would be dropped off shortly. It was dropped off and that was it - no explanation of the facilities, no mention of water taxis, no mention of nearby beaches to visit / walk to, no mention of what was or was not included as part of our booking. Had to return to reception to explicitly ask these questions after already being checked in. Not disastrous but could certainly be better. Breakfast bar was fine overall but I'll note the fresh juice - customisable and made to order, was excellent and something not found in many other places I have stayed. The board games available to play were also a nice touch. Also, if there was a swimming pool we did not see it or made aware of its existence.”
