“We tried the Rok hotel for a change to New Kingston . The breakfast is nice , although pastries are limited . The staff are friendly . The restaurant at night was empty and food prices high so we went out . The pool is nice but limited shade . A late check out is not available and for a Hilton Hotel it is disappointing that there is no where to shower before our flight. Uk flights are i. the evening so not good for British travellers . We have stayed at 3 star hotels where this is available ”

“I was pretty surprised when I got to the room and realized that it had a refrigerator. It’s the small things in life. Because I was leaving before breakfast times in the mornings, I was able to purchase my salads in advance and have them every morning no hassle. It was pretty convenient. ”

“First, the staff here is amazing and attentive. The koi pond as you enter, so pretty. The lobby and most of the downstairs public areas are extremely hot. No air. This is not how you want to be greeted from traveling. The bar has excellent but inconsistent service and food. I ate jerk wings daytime w/ fries and they were amazing, hot and timely. I ordered a chicken quesadilla for dinner amazing. But it took forever and two times for them to get the order right. I dined one more time for the quesadilla the next evening because it was so good the night before, it was cold and I waited 45 min for it at the bar. Big inconsistencies with dining. The breakfast was okay. You can order ala cart and I did both the buffet and ala cart. Wasn’t happy about no explanation cards and explanation of food, in front of the buffet food. Some of us aren’t Jamaican & we wouldn’t recognize or know the authentic foods offered in the buffet. My room was subpar but the service to clean was great. The rooms need to be modernized. There was scuff marks on walls in the room and bathroom was not clean as it should be around the knobs. Attention to detail on cleaning wasn’t there. You get two comp bottles of water daily and I appreciated that. I used the fridge to get them Cold and enjoyed them daily. That was awesome. Please fix these details. For the Easter weekend there was a church service that went on from 9a until 4p and it was loud and screaming on the mic and was a definite inconvenience to us guests. All morning and afternoon it was unbearably loud and literally screaming through the walls and windows. I had a headache because of it. You should alert guests you allows a church service to book. Especially for hours. I wouldn’t return. It just wasn’t worth my money and missed important marks. ”
