“저희는 앞쪽에 위치한 멋진 방을 배정받았습니다. 급하게 예약했는데도 가격 대비 정말 훌륭했습니다. 기차역과 로마 광장 근처의 좋은 위치에 자리 잡고 있기도 합니다. 하지만 주의할 점은 24시간 프런트 데스크가 없고, 밤 10시에 정문이 잠긴다는 것입니다. 열쇠를 주긴 하지만, 잠금장치가 매우 허술하고 얇은 금속 막대로 작동하는 방식이라 제대로 열릴지 복불복입니다. 또한, 객실 청소 서비스도 제공되지 않았습니다.”

베네치아(베네치아 시티 센터)에 위치한 레시덴차 두카토에 머무르면 콘타리니 델 보볼로 궁전에서 가까우며 산 마르코 광장까지 도보로 4분이면 이동할 수 있습니다. 이 레지던스 가까이에는 상 마르코 성당 종탑 및 산마르코 대성당도 있습니다.

“Once we finally found the apartments (Venice really is a maze and WiFi is hit and miss in the alleys) our first impression was that the whole building looked exactly like the online photos. There is a secure entrance doorway from an alleyway into a small courtyard, this door is locked at night and you have to use your apartment swipe key to open it so you feel very secure. Then through a set of electronic glass doors (have to use your swipe card to open) you arrive at a reception desk manned during office hours by the very helpful and friendly Valentina or Paola. We were immediately offered a free upgrade to apartment 21 on the 2nd floor. There is a lift and the stairs are wide and not too steep. The apartment was huge, a twin (or double if you wish) bedroom with a chaise longue, beside that a small dressing room with wardrobe space and an ironing board. Then a large living area with a sofa, armchair, table and 4 chairs. I had expected to sleep on the sofa but a separate trundle bed had been prepared for me. Bed linen pillows etc felt very clean and new. Extra pillows wrapped in plastic stored in press. Small kitchen unit against wall, micorwave, dishwasher, small minibar which we were told we could also use for our own water and milk, small but useable. Concealed presses running along living room wall held cutlery, cups, glasses, toaster, hairdryer, safe, more hangers for clothes storage. The bathroom was amazing. Walk in huge shower like the starship enterprise!, toilet, bidet, two sinks. Fresh towels and extra toilet roll when the cleaners came each day-yes your apartment gets cleaned every day and you arrive home to a hotel standard room. They empty your bins every day-I had read horror stories of having to separate rubbish in Venice but not in this accommodation. Very central, minutes from rialto which has a spar and a Co-op, minutes from san marco square. Buy a vaperrato travel pass and you can travel all around Venice. Hosts in Residenza ducato are 5 star, always keen to advise and help. Saved our sanity when they lent us some phone adapters. I’d recommend these apartments to anyone looking for a high standard stay in Venice. It really is hotel standard. Just to note there isn’t a view from apartment 21 but you really won’t care, once you step outside your mind will be blown by every part of Venice it is stunning. Finally watch your bag I got pickpocketed on my last evening unfortunately. ”
