“I rarely write reviews but unfortunately our stay here was not good - to be clear it’s shared communal accommodation which we weren’t made aware of. It’s one level up from a hostel and similar to an alpine hiking refuge. The place was dirty, the sheets weren’t clean (and had multiple hairs in them) the interior rooms all shared the same key and another couple arrived trying to get into our bedroom as they were told it was theirs - so we had to relocate within to a different room, but who knows that could’ve been someone else’s too. Communication poor there. Didn’t feel safe as a result and at no point were we made aware we would be sharing the accommodation - eventually with 2 other groups. The local area didn’t feel international friendly, the restaurants closed early further up the hill and the ski ‘resort’ felt 30 years past its sell by date. To top it off when we left, the shower fell off the wall - real plug glued into bricks. Great if you’re backpacking and don’t care, not good if you’re on a normal holiday. ”
