“The Good: The location is excellent—very convenient for shopping and exploring Caserta town. Free parking is a huge plus! The staff are exceptionally friendly, the swimming pool is delightful, and the ballroom is truly spectacular with its amazing ceiling and grand feel. ​Room & Property: The rooms offer basic amenities, but the property feels like it needs a refresh. Some of the furniture, internal walls, and exterior paintwork are showing their age and could definitely use an upgrade. Overall, it feels standard rather than particularly special. ​Food & Service: Breakfast was a bit hit-and-miss. Food in one dining room was served cold, while it was hot in the other. Note that there’s no chef available to make fresh omelettes or fried eggs. ​Minor Downsides: A couple of small charges felt unnecessary for a hotel of this scale—specifically being charged €5 for a pool towel, and €4 for a cup of milk when none is provided in the room for the tea and coffee facilities. ​A pleasant stay overall with fantastic historic architecture, though addressing a few minor details would make a big difference!”
