“We came with higher expectations after our last stay in Sicily a few years ago in Mangia's Brucoli, and we realised it is not fully a 5-star level hitel. Staff is generally speaking very nice, but certain actions didn't match the service level expectations. In the bars we were asking for certain cocktails and they were consistently using different products to the one clearly requested. First night we arrived in the buffet with a band singing italian songs all around the tables, very noisy. We asked if we could move to a tables on the other end where it was quieter and the person managing the buffet looked like if we were out of our mind and said "but its finishing soon!"...Like, i wasn't asking for your opinion, i was asking for a simple easy to accommodate request (plemty of empty tables, no problem). The gardens are ok, the su set views are exceptional, but small details like above ones and an interior closer to a nursing home tban a 5-star resort left us a bit sad. Im sure it'll be amazing for many, im sure of that.”

“Plus: great pool and plenty of sun loungers. Minus: beach is industrial, food cold most of the time, snacks at 4pm left over croissants from breakfasts. Only fruit served was melon and tinned fruits. Overall: you feel like you have been on an episode of Catfish on MTV! We won’t be returning”
