“We are a couple, visited in mid-March for an o/n stay. A small and cosy cabin by the lake, yet spacious enough for all our belongings. We took the family bungalow, and it was the rightmost corner unit offering privacy and a larger living space. We were warmy welcomed by the owner's dog who charmed our hearts. Loved that the parking lot is right next to the unit which makes loading and unloading convenient. The apartment had everything we could ask for - basic necessities like kitchen towel, herbs and spices for cooking, and shower foam. We were lucky to have the opportunity to view the Northern lights from here as well. Definitely recommended for anyone looking for an accommodation around the area. ”

“Not nearly as nice as the Fosshotel in Reykholt near the Golden Circle. Staff was ok. We found out that our room door wouldn't lock when we left and they were kinda unconcerned about it. ”

“Elegant, and well restored! Loved the cozy feel, excellent attention to detail, helpful staff, comfy bedding & bed, awesome shower and relaxed atmosphere! Enjoyed happy hour and early am coffee & breakfast! Highly recommend! Also, could see Walter Mitty house from my top floor room, which felt a smidge haunted, but no problem. (There are 2 rooms on main floor. I had to go up two flights of stairs to get to mine)”
