“We had a wonderful stay at Glacier Lagoon Hotel during our trip around Iceland.
The rooms were modern, spacious, and very comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The only thing missing was a fridge in the room, which would have been handy for storing snacks and drinks.
The restaurant food was good, though the real highlight of the hotel was the outdoor spa area. The panoramic sauna overlooking the mountains was fantastic, and we loved being able to move between the hot tubs and the natural cold plunge. Sitting in the hot water while watching sheep wander through the surrounding fields was such a uniquely Icelandic experience and one of our favourite memories from the trip.
The location is excellent for exploring the Glacier Lagoon area, and the spa facilities alone make it worth staying here. We'd happily stay again.”
