“The hostel is located at excellent location close to the Landmannalaugar but the price is really overshot for the comfort you get. Its this liminal space style cramped little rooms that have seen better days, no common space to sit and talk, because the main dining hall closes very early. You basically just come there to sleep in a small super budget room and wake up for a hike. The sauna is this 2x2 meter room that is shared among about 100+ people so it doesn't really count and is not very maintained neither. It is the only option around so the prices can be rumped up and u fair like they are.”
