“Hotel is very close to everything in the Husavik center. This is walking distance to the harbor, church, ja ja ding dong (for movie lovers of Eurovision the Story of Fire Saga), and some museums. The staff was very friendly and polite. They allowed us to check in early as it was dumping snow on us for hours. My one gripe about this hotel is the room locking mechanism. It's not great. It is a round knob that you must twist repeatedly to lock and unlock from the inside. On the outside, it's confusing unless we pulled on the door to allow the lock to engage the jamb. On the inside you need a good grip with dexterity to be able to turn the lock properly. This hotel uses actual keys so it's not a card entry and this is necessary to have the first lock.”
