“The apartment itself was great. Roomy, a comfortable bed, and a nice bathroom and shower. Elevator. Easy entry. And great communication. Every message I sent, no matter what time of day, was answered, and with kindness. I would definitely stay here again, but... Sometimes the difference between a good rental and a great rental are small things. With a little bit of extra effort, the owners could make this a great rental. As others reported, it is rather dark in the unit. Lighting could be better. No washcloths. No hand towels of any kind in kitchen. Only one dishwasher tablet. No dish soap. No sponge or rag to wash dishes with. No coffee, salt, pepper, or any other condiments. Very limited cooking utensils. Two pans and no cover for the frying pan. No paper towel or tissue of any kind. With the price they are receiving per night, these are petty little things that would cost very little. And they definitely would make this good rental into a great rental. ”

“The hotel is outdated with poor amenities. Geothermal water so very smelly water. Poor parking due to a new addition construction (only 4 spots for entire hotel). When I arrived there was no offering of apologies for having to park far from hotel and no advice on where to park since the restaurant parking next door was also closed. Restaurant owned by same company I spent 67 USD on 8 wings and a pizza foleded in half. Service was good but outrageously priced for tourists. The sauna was like warm and the hot tub was dirty with debris. Also I had a schedule change which shortened my stay in iceland and hotel rejected my offer for refund in spite of not staying the second night. It was a non refundable rate but I feel the circumstances could have been considered. Cheap hotel with so so breakfast. Beds were comfy and staff was nice.”

“Arrived at the property but had to call the management to obtain the building entry code, room details and wifi information. Would have expected to recieve all this information prior to the check-in time. Booked a quadruple room expecting 4 beds but ended up with a double bed and a sofa bed. Accessible by car and close to supermarkets.”
